Record a meeting, and Actioned writes the minutes, decisions and actions for you.

Recording
Will it keep recording if my screen locks?
Yes. Recording carries on with the screen locked. You can pause, bookmark and stop from the Lock Screen or the Dynamic Island.
What happens if I get a phone call?
Recording pauses during the call and carries on by itself when it ends. A pause you made yourself never resumes on its own.
Which microphone does it use?
The iPhone's own microphone by default, even with AirPods connected, because it hears the whole room. Choose Headphones in Settings → Recording when you're the only one speaking.
Can I record on my Apple Watch?
Yes. Open Actioned on the watch and tap record. The recording is sent to your iPhone when you stop, and the minutes are written there.
Can I import a recording I already have?
Yes: from Files, Voice Memos or any app's share sheet ("Open in Actioned").
Minutes
How long do minutes take?
Usually a minute or two after you stop, longer for long meetings. You can leave the app: it finishes in the background and lets you know.
Some names or words are spelled wrong
Add them to the folder's Words to Listen For, and tap a speaker in the transcript to name them. Then use Rewrite Minutes to write them again.
Can I change the format or language?
Yes. Pick a format before recording, or use Rewrite Minutes As… afterwards. Settings → Minutes Language chooses the language they're written in. You can also write your own formats.
How do I share minutes?
From a note's Share menu: a web link anyone can open for 30 days, a PDF or Word file, plain text, or a follow-up email addressed to the meeting's invitees.
Plans and billing
What's free?
Your first recording, then 3 transcribed recordings each month. Recordings over the limit are kept on your iPhone, ready to transcribe later or with Actioned Pro.
How do I cancel or manage Actioned Pro?
On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Actioned. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are made through Apple, which handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I bought Pro but the app still shows the free plan
Open the plans screen from Settings and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with.
Privacy and your data
Do I need an account?
No. There are no accounts, ads or tracking.
Where are my recordings kept?
On your iPhone, and in your own iCloud if sync is on. Audio is sent off the device only to be transcribed, and is deleted from the transcription service as soon as your iPhone has the transcript. See the privacy policy.
How do I keep my own copies?
Settings → Save Copies writes each note's audio, minutes and transcript to a folder you choose in Files.
How do I delete everything?
Delete notes in the app (they're removed from iCloud too), stop any shared links, then delete the app.
